We have performed excavation for homes of all sizes across the island — land clearing, digging for foundations, additions, and pools, utility hook-ups, septic systems, and roadway and driveway construction. Our portfolio includes hundreds of septic systems, from the simplest conventional gravity system to the latest alternative technologies required in Nantucket's watershed districts.

Excavation · Concrete · Utilities · Septic
When Bartlett Farm built their new market building, we excavated for the basement; supplied concrete for the footings, foundation walls, and floors; built the roads and parking lots, including catch basins and leaching facilities; installed a mile of 12-inch ductile iron water main and tied it into the Town's water system; and installed a very large commercial septic system.
Commercial septic system
Installation of a large commercial septic system for the clubhouse and restaurant: five tanks (12,000, 8,000, 6,000, and two 2,500-gallon) under the clubhouse parking lot and an 8,400 sq ft drip-dispersal leaching area under the driving range. When the system was in, the parking lot was restored and put back in service.
Tank removal & replacement
Digging up, removing, and transporting for disposal two large steel fuel-oil tanks — 30,000 gallons at the Middle School and 40,000 gallons at the High School — and replacing them with new fiberglass tanks.
Residential septic system
A simple gravity septic system on a very tight, difficult site that required dewatering and a lot of hand digging to avoid existing electric, cable, and phone lines.
