Reis Trucking has provided excavation on Nantucket since 1955. Our fleet of equipment, our skilled operators, and our construction supervisors have grown with the island, and our experience runs from a simple driveway repair to full-scope excavation for some of the island's largest commercial and residential projects.

Knowledge & experience
There is no substitute for experience, and we couldn't agree more. Our core excavation team has a remarkable depth of hands-on field experience on Nantucket: we know the soil types, where groundwater causes problems and how to deal with it, how the weather will affect a given job, and how to sequence the excavation portion of your project to minimize cost and avoid delays or rework.
We take pride in sharing what we know with customers and collaborating with the other contractors on the job to get the best, lowest-cost result. We are glad to work directly for owners or in a subcontractor role.
